The Chicago Symphony’s Associate Principal hornist Daniel Gingrich is joined by his daughter, violinist Dawn Gingrich, and pianist Heng-Jin Park in releasing a new recording of Brahms’ Trio for piano, violin and horn, Bach’s Sonata in C Major for solo violin and Beethoven’s Sonata for piano and horn. This is Daniel Gingrich’s only solo recording and it is Dawn Gingrich’s first CD. The Brahms was recorded when Dawn was 21 years old and the Bach when she was 22.
